The Legion of Mary has traditionally organized Sacred Heart enthronements in family homes.  A new monthly Mass will help us spread that devotion to the entire diocese.
On Friday, June 11, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bishop Choby will celebrate Holy Mass to consecrate families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Mass will be preceded by a Rosary and prayers of reparation led by the Legion of Mary.  Several priests will be available for confession beginning at 6:00 p.m.
What:  Holy Mass to consecrate families to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts
When:  June 11, 2010 at 7 p.m., with prayers and confession beginning at 6 p.m.
Where:  Church of the Assumption, 7th Ave. North, Nashville, Tennessee

Assumption Church will offer dessert and coffee following the Mass.  The Legion of Mary, in coordination with other groups, will make available images of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts, brown scapulars, and Rosaries.
Fr. Michael D'Souza will continue to offer prayers of reparation and Holy Mass on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Assumption Church.  Look for more information in the next issue of the The Register!

Focus points of this Holy Mass:
  • for families united in mutual love and peace
  • for strong faith, hope and love as Catholic families
  • for reparation of the most heinous crime of abortion
  • for reparation for all other blasphemies sweeping our land.
